PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pump driving torque when no load is applied by controlling a flow rate in compliance with a load pressure when a load is applied on a pressure fluid using apparatus side in a variable displacement type pump. SOLUTION: A variable displacement type pump is provided with a pump discharge side opening 34, and in a pump discharge side area 28B, on which a pump discharge pressure P1 inside a pump chamber 28 works, in the inner circumference part of a cam ring 27, a part (θ1 ) facing a first fluid pressure chamber 41 in the outer circumference part of the cam ring 27 is extended in a wider area than the part (θ2 ) facing a second fluid pressure chamber 42 (θ1 >θ2 ) on the left side and on the right side in the oscillation direction of the cam ring 27 based on an oscillation fulcrum 31. The center of an inner circumference cam face of a cam ring forming the pump chamber 28 is positioned in the part shifted from the center of the rotor 25 toward the pump intake side area 28A.
