PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a dust preventive cover to be easily mounted to and removed from an electric connection box, by providing it with a projection for temporary fixing to engage with the screw hole of the nut of the electric connection box. SOLUTION: A dust preventive cover 14 is made thinly, with synthetic resin as material, and it is equipped with a flange part 15 opposed to the circular seal member 8 of an electric connection box 1, and a bulge 16 corresponding to electric parts such as a relay 3, etc. At the flange part 15, a plurality of hollow temporary fixing projections 18 corresponding to the nut holes 17 of a bracket 10 are made integrally by vacuum formation or blow formation. The temporary fixing projection 18 is composed of a thin tubular shaft 19 hung down vertically from the flange part 15, a projection 20 made integrally at the tip of the shaft 19, and a thin circular rib 21 projected around the shaft 19. The tip 21a of the circular rib 21 and the shoulder 22 of the projection 20 temporarily fix the temporary fixing projection 18 to a nut so that it may not come out, being caught by the thread ridge of the nut 11. As a result, simple dust prevention becomes possible by mounting the cover 14 on the electric connection box 1 by one touch. |
