TRUCK TURNING CONTROL DEVICE FOR CRANE WITH WEIGHT TRUCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn wheels of a weight truck incorporated in a crane body in an optimum direction during slewing or running of the crane body so as to prevent abrasion of the wheels and to enhance the turning manipulability. SOLUTION: A crane body with a weight truck is provided therein with a slewing direction detecting part 64 for detecting the slewing direction of an upper slewing body, relative to a lower running body. In addition, a running direction detecting part 65 is provided for detecting a running angle of the lower running body, relative the upper slewing body. A central control part 63 delivers control signals including data such as turning angles of wheels to turning control parts 67 to 70 incorporated in the weight truck. The turning direction control parts 67 to 70 transmit and receive signals to and from their respective wheel turning control parts 71 to 74 so as to turn each wheel independently in directions suitable for the slewing or running of the main body.
