PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease generation of stripe fluctuation in an image by making the diameter of the formed ink dot invariant regardless of inks used when a plurality of inks with different concn. are used for performing gradation print. SOLUTION: The amt. of jetting of each ink is made different by changing respectively the width of a driving pulse applied on an electricity-heat convertor for each head for jetting each ink with a different concn. and thereby, a dot with a fixed diameter of√2x+αto a picture element with an area of x×x is formed by the jetted ink at any time when the ink is jetted from any head. As the result, the formed dot always covers the hole picture element to prevent a gap between the dots from being generated in an image and to accordingly suppress generation of stripe fluctuation caused by this gap. |
