PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant thermoplastic resin compsn. which hardly adheres to a metal and is excellent in thermal stability and light resistance by compounding a specific resin mixture with a halogen compd. SOLUTION: 10-100 pts.wt. graft (co)polymer obtd. by grafting a monomer component comrising 60-100wt.% arom. vinyl compd. and 40-0wt.% monomer copolymerizable therewith onto a rubbery polymer having a glass transition point of 0 deg.C or lower, a wt. average particle size of 0.1-5μm, and a rubber content of 1-80wt.% is mixed with 90-0 pts.wt. (co)polymer obtd. by polymerizing a monomer component comprising 60-100wt.% arom. vinyl compd. and 40-0wt.% monomer copolymerizable therewith. The resultant mixture in an amt. of 100 pts.wt. is compounded with 1-35 pts.wt. halogen compd. represented by formula I [(n) is 0-15; X is Br or Cl; a to d are each 1-4; R1 is isopropylidene, etc.; one of R2 and R3 is 2,3-epoxypropyl and the other is a group represented by formula II; and R4 is an optionally brominated or chlorinated allyl, etc.] and having a content of the group represented by formula II of 30mol% or higher and a ratio of blocked molecular terminals of 20-70mol%.
