摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any necessity of a sheet carrier mechanism generating a large carrier force by detecting a sheet body by a sheet detecting means, when the sheet body reaches a position of the sheet carrier mechanism, and in response to this detection, at least reducing a separation force of a sheet separation mechanism by a sheet separation control means. SOLUTION: When an electromagnetic clutch and a solenoid 8 are turned on in starting feeding and the feeding is started by a pick-up roller 5, a printing paper 2 is inserted into a clearance between a feed roller 15 and a reverse roller 16 and fed by the rotation of the feed roller 15. In this case, a torque which returns back a stacked printing paper 2 via a torque limitter is applied on the reverse roller 16 and an uppermost paper is separated. When the printing paper 2 is detected by the sheet detecting means 33 and reaches a sheet carrier mechanism 14, a solenoid 32 is driven, the reverse roller 6 is separated from the feed roller 15, and rotation drive of the feed roller 15 is turned off so that the printing paper 2 is carried in order by the sheet carrier mechanism 14.</p>
