PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller that controls the operation of motors installed on a plurality of objects to be driven, respectively, in order to drive them, and that is capable of simply controlling with accuracy the operation of the motors so that the speed ratio of the plurality of the objects to be driven or both such a speed ratio and the relative positional relation among the objects to be driven will be maintained as specified with accuracy. SOLUTION: The frequency of an output signal from the encoder E1 for one LDM1 of motors is divided into 1/2 using a frequency divider 52, and the thus obtained signal is taken as the target speed for the other LDM2 of the motors. The present position of a carriage C1 to be driven by the motor LDM1, detected at a first position detecting section 17, is divided into 1/2 using a frequency divider 51, and the thus obtained position is taken as the target position for a carriage C2 to be driven by the motor LDM2. The speed of the motor LDM2, detected by a second speed detecting section 26, and the present position of the carriage C2, detected by a second position detecting section 27, are fed back to the above-mentioned target speed and target position. |
