PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by displaying an operating menu corresponding to the contents of displayed document data. SOLUTION: A document storage part 104 stores the document data transmitted from a broadcasting station together with its content information. An input operating part 108 accepts operations from a user. An input signal reception part 109 reports instructions corresponding to the operations to a control part 110 and the control part 110 respectively instructs the display of a document to a display control part 112, the preparation of the operating menu to a menu preparation part 111 and the execution of the operation to an operation execution part 106. The display control part 112 reads the document data out of the document storage part 104 and displays them on a display part 103. The menu preparation part 111 prepares the operating menu by reading the menu information stored in a menu information storage part 105 while being paired with the content information of document data under display. The display control part 112 additionally displays the prepared operating menu on the display part 103. The operation execution part 106 executes the operation of a menu item in operating menu selecting state.
