PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of water from the outside to the inside by fixing a plurality of circular arc-shaped elastic divided pieces arranged in a ring unit so as to continue in a circumferential direction along the ring unit so as to protrude in the diametric direction inward from the ring unit, and bringing a diametric direction inner edge of each divided piece into slide contact with a peripheral surface of a shaft member. SOLUTION: For instance, 10 circular arc-shaped divided pieces 1, consisting of synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, etc., are circular annularly arranged so as to continue in a circumferential direction along a core metal 2 as a ring unit. This core metal 2 is bent in an L-shaped section, in its bending part 10, the divided piece 1 is piled through a rubber-made coating material 13, a retaining material 15 is piled so as to interpose this divided piece 1 from an axial direction inside. Further, by a rivet 16 penetrating a through hole 15A of the retaining material 15, through hole 12 of the divided piece 1 and a through hole 11 of the core metal 2, the divided piece 1 is fixed to the core metal 2. A diametric direction inner edge 1A of the divided piece 1 is brought into slide contact with a peripheral surface 3A of a shaft 3, a part 5 protruded from the core metal 2 is curved toward the outside in an axial direction. |
