PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a syntax analysis of the voice series, which have a large amount of vocabulary and syntax rules and a high degree of freedom, with a low average cost and to guarantee in accepting the sentence structure which has a signal probability of being pronounced. SOLUTION: Sets of syntax rules, which only include fundamental syntax rules, are made as effective syntax rules and speech recognition is initiated. If a syntax analysis fails and no correct candidate is included in the final recognition candidate, an analysis is conducted using all syntax rules. If a correct recognition candidate is obtained, an effective syntax rule recognition section 9 adds the syntax rules used in the section 9 to a set 8 of effective syntax rules and voice recognition is conducted by the set 8 thereafter. |
