<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the stop time so as to improve the capacity of a carriage system, by transferring a storage battery discharged from a carrier to a charge part, based on the quantity of discharge of the storage battery mounted on the carrier having come to the specified quantity, and mounting the charged storage battery instead from the charge part to the carrier. SOLUTION: A carrier 2, which mounts a storage battery T which is consumed, being discharged to the specified quantity of accumulation, is attracted to the top of a branching unit 6, and is fixed. Thus, the carrier 2 is positioned, and a power switch is turned off. Next, as actual automatic replacement operation, a storage battery transfer part 30 extracts a consumed storage battery T from the carrier 2, and holds it, and besides this transfers it into the vacant charge room 11a in a charge station 11 by driving down an elevator 31. Then, the storage battery transfer part 30 takes out the charged storage battery T in another charge room 11a, and mounts it on the carrier 2. A power switch is turned on to the carrier 2 having mounted the storage battery T anew.</p> |
