摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the heat accumulating and releasing function of a heat accumulating material to improve the efficiency by installing the heat accumulating material in an exhaust duct. SOLUTION: Water tubes 3 are equally arranged in an annular shape and a mesh heat accumulating material case 4 is installed at the central part of the water tubes 3. The heat accumulating material case 4 is of an open-top, cylindrical type and is charged inside with small lumps of heat accumulating material 5 mainly made up of peridotite. A boiler main body 2 has a circular opening in the middle on top and an exhaust stack 6 is held in it. Beneath the heat accumulating material case 4 is a hollow space to be used as a combustion furnace and refractory materials 7 are laid inside. A burner 8 is mounted on a combustion furnace wall and a burner tip penetrates though the furnace wall and protrudes into the combustion furnace. A temperature detector 9 is attached at an adequate position on the sidewall of the boiler main body 2 to detect hot-water temperatures.</p>
