PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a reproducing only zone or a control zone in the optical information recording medium formed with an information signal in lands and grooves. SOLUTION: No grooves are formed in the control zone 12 or the reproducing only zone 45, and a control data or a video and audio data, etc., are previously recorded as prepits on a center line of each track. Then, a track pitch TP2 of prepits in the control zone 12 or the reproducing only zone 45 is set to be equalized to a groove pitch GP in rewritable zones 11 and 44.
