PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decreasing in performance of a battery, by heating or cooling the battery relating to a change of its temperature environment, in a hybrid electric vehicle. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 49 is provided in a battery box 18 storing a battery 15, in a front part of this battery box 18, a warm air intake port 61 taking in engine peripheral air and a cold air intake port 63 taking in car outside air are formed, to communicate with a battery receiving chamber 18a through an air intake passage 65. A switching damper 66 capable of selectively switching these warm air intake port 61 and cold air intake port 63 is provided, when a battery temperature is a first prescribed value or less, the port is switched to the warm air intake port 61 by the switching damper 66, wham air of an engine is taken in the battery receiving chamber 18a and the battery 15 is warmed. |
