PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid absorber which has a structure to hardly shield the visual field of a microscope and to hardly excessively expand accompanying liquid absorption in spite of an increase in the amt. of an absorbent material in order to increase the absorption speed and absorbability of liquid, eventually has good operability in operation, etc., and has excellent absorption performance. SOLUTION: This liquid absorber is formed by maintaining the absorbent material 3 for absorbing the liquid compressed to a flat shape and covering the outside surface thereof with a resin film 2 in the state having a liquid flow part 55 on at least the side in contact with the liquid. The resin film 2 keeps the absorbent material 3 compressed in the state that the absorbent material does not absorb the liquid. On the other hand, the resin film permits the expansion accompanying the liquid absorption while partially restraining the form change of the absorbent material 3 when the absorbent material 3 absorbs the liquid. |
