PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually perform data communication through an analog public network while using a conventional data modem without subscribing data equipment on one side to an INS line or the like by enabling the data communication between data equipment connected to the analog public network and digital data equipment connected to a PHS network. SOLUTION: A converter 14 for high-speed PHS data communication is installed between an analog public network 13 and a PHS network 15. Then, by performing dialing from the analog public network 13 while using the data modem, the data communication can be surely performed between data equipment 11 connected to the side of the analog public network 13 and digital data equipment 19 connected to the side of the PHS network 15. Similarly, by performing dialing from a PHS terminal 18, the data communication can be surely performed between the digital data equipment 19 connected to the side of the PHS network 15 and the data equipment 11 connected to the side of the analog public network 13. |
