<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device constituted so that a faithful photographing action to a diaphragm value set according to the photographing intention of a photographer and a photographing action securing diaphragm amount diaphragmed from an open diaphragm value can be optionally selected. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a set means 105 setting the diaphragm value of a photographing lens, an information generation means 103 generating the information of the open diaphragm value of the photographing lens and a diaphragm control means 100 controlling the diaphragm according to signals outputted from the set means 105 and the generation means 103. The control means 100 is provided with a first mode in which the diaphragm of a photographing time is controlled based on the diaphragm value set by the set means 105 and a second mode in which the diaphragm is controlled by keeping number-of-step difference between the open diaphragm value obtained when the diaphragm value is set and the set diaphragm value when the open diaphragm value of the photographing lens is changed after the diaphragm value is set.</p> |
