<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball capable of being used preferably by players on all levels with satisfactory spin performance, controlabillability and carry either in high head speed region or low head speed region irrespective of the level o the player (irrespective of quickness of head speed). SOLUTION: In a thread wound golf ball having a center ball wound around by a rubber thread and covered with a cover thereon, the center ball 1 having 33-38mm of outer diameter consists of a center core 4 having less than 37mm of outer diameter and 3.5-10mm of deformation amount under 100kg of a fixed load and a surrounding layer 5 to cover the center core 4 with at least 55 of the Shore D hardness.</p> |
