PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficently and highly accurately evaluate W/C of fresh concrete. SOLUTION: In a water/cement ratio ratio evaluating method, the air amt. A (%) and unit vol. wt. W of fresh concrete are measured and an unit vol. wt. T containing no air is calculated from the air amt. A and the unit vol. wt. W according to A= (T-W)/T}.100. The unit vol. wt. T is used to calculate a water/cement ratio according to control W/C value = (1000/CT)α-(α-1)T/1000} +β[whereinαisα=1/(1-1/ρA),βisβ=α(1/ρA-1/ρC),ρA is specific gravity of aggregate,ρC is specific gravity of cement and CT is unit cement amt. (kg/m<3> )].
