The drainage socket is for road drains, bath outlets, etc. It has a pipe socket for connection to a pipe of a certain dia. The pipe socket (6) has an associated concentric additional pipe socket (5) for the selective connections of a pipe of different dia. The pipe socket diameters are dimensioned, so that the flow cross sections are at max. 1:2. In a bath outlet embodiment the outlet plug (1) is adjustable in height by means of a sealing retention piece (3). The housing proper (4) is situated underneath.
