PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select area with good operability both in an image inverted type finder or an image non-inverted type finder by controlling a display means so that the operating direction of an area selection member may be aligned with the moving direction of a selection area on the display means. SOLUTION: When it is not the image inverted type finder, an external display 12 is inverted right and left. Next, relationship to an area selector 3 is changed, and relationship between the moving direction of the area and the area selector 3 is inverted right and left from the case of the image inverted type finder. For example, in the case of moving the image of the image inverted type finder from the left area to the central area, the right direction moving button 3b of the area selector 3 is depressed to move the image. In the case it is not the image inverted type finder, the left side button 3b of the selector 3 is allowed to cope with the movement in a noninverted left direction. The right side button 3b of the selector 3 is allowed to cope with the movement in the noninverted right direction. Thus, the selecting operation with good operability is realized. |
