PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a useless area of a frame part of a liquid crystal cell while sufficiently securing an effective length of a terminal electrode in a removal process of a common electrode short circuit connecting between the terminal electrodes leading out an internal circuit of a liquid crystal cell to the outside for preventing electrostatic destruction in a liquid crystal cell manufacturing process by removing it while remaining the part of the common electrode existing on the extension of the terminal electrode end part. SOLUTION: The common electrode 14 mutually short-circuiting the end parts of the terminal electrodes 13 led out toward a glass end surface 15 of a glass substrate for connecting the internal circuit of the liquid crystal cell formed on the glass substrate for preventing the electrostatic destruction of the liquid crystal cell internal circuit in the liquid crystal cell manufacturing process is removed partially by laser irradiation light scanned along gaps of respective terminal electrodes 13, and the terminal electrodes 13 are separated. Together with that, the end parts of the terminal electrodes 13 are prolonged by the remaining parts of the common electrode 14, and are made effective terminal electrodes containing prolonged parts 13a. |
