<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible easily recognizing how a character constituted of its stroke is affected by instantly reflecting the change of the stroke to a character picture and displaying it. SOLUTION: A font file of character information stored in a storage such as an HD, an FD, etc., is specified (201), and the character to be edited is selected (202). The selected character is displayed on a display screen of a CRT (203), and when the fact hat editing is required is judged, the stroke to be edited is selected (204), and extracted to be displayed on the display screen of the CRT (205), and the editing processing of the stroke is executed (207). When the editing processing of the stroke is ended, the character picture is re-displayed corresponding to the changed result of the stroke, and the change of the stroke is reflected to the character picture (209). In such a manner, the character picture and the stroke picture are displayed simultaneously, and the change of the stroke is reflected to the character picture instantly to be displayed, and the edited result is made possible being visualized and confirmed, and the character editing is facilitated.</p> |
