<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball giving a satisfactory driving feeling and large carry in the golf ball of a multilayer structure having a rubber thread layer. SOLUTION: In a golf ball constituted from a center 1 made of a vulcanized molding of rubber composition, rubber thread layer 2 and a cover 3, the outer diameter of the center 1 is set to 35-38mm to provide 3.5-6mm of the deformation amount of the center 1 when 10kg of initial load is applied and then 130kg of final load is applied. When the deformation amount of the center 1 is assumed to be A and the deformation amount of the center 1 when 130kg of the final load is applied after 10kg of the initial load is applied is assumed to be B, the value of the deformation amount A of the center 1 minus the deformation amount B of the ball is set to 0.5-3mm.</p> |
