<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball excellent in the spin performance, controllability and carry, while having a soft driving feeling in the golf ball and an excellent driving feeling having a satisfactory click feeling. SOLUTION: In a thread wound golf ball having a center ball wound by a rubber thread and covered with a cover 3 thereon, the center ball 1 having 3.3-38mm of the outer diameter consists of a core center having 37mm or less of the outer diameter and 1-5mm of the deformation amount under 100kg of a fixed load and a surrounding layer 5 covering the center core 4 with 54 or less of Shore D hardness, and the cover 4 consists of the outer layer 3 having 30-58 of Shore D hardness and the inner layer 7 having 55-68 of Shore D hardness which is 5 or more higher than the outer layer 6 in the Shore D hardness.</p> |
