APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TESTING DURABLE LOAD OF BODY IN RAILCAR

Disclosed is a method and apparatus for testing a load of a body of a train, which can simply and precisely test the load of the body of the train. A hydraulic cylinder(5) and a load cell(7) for sensing a load applied to hydraulic cylinder(5) are installed in the train. A controller(13), which is electronically controlled, measures the load applied by hydraulic cylinder(5). The deformation of the body caused by the load applied by hydraulic cylinder(5) is measured by a strain gauge(14) installed in the body and a measuring system(15) which is electrically connected to strain gauge(14).
