The desk chair (1) has a strip of hooked pile fasteners fixed to its upper horizontal cross bar (5). A towel is fixed to the top of the chair by a corresponding strip of hooked pile fasteners on the transversal edge of the towel (7) so that it can be spread over the chair. Two tapes (8) are fixed to the fabric at the top of the chair. They are fastened round a towel which has been rolled up (9), to form a head rest.
