<p>A traction head (1) for metal bar cropping benches comprising a plurality of pairs (2, 4, 3, 5, 11, 13) of traction wheels which are actuated along axes arranged transversely with respect to the advancement direction of the metal bars to be cropped and between which the metal bars are adapted to be clamped. A first and a second measurement wheels (12, 14) are coupled to respective traction wheels (2, 4, 3, 5, 11, 13) which are arranged in series and are adapted to be rotated by the advancement of the bars to be cropped, the measurement wheels (12, 14) being connected to each other by transmission means and being associated with sensor means (21) for sensing the advancement of the bars to be cropped. <IMAGE></p> |
