A closure (40) is provided for a container (42) having an opening (39). THe closure (40) includes a base (50) for mounting to the container (42) around the opening (30). A dispensing valve (46) is disposed across the base (50) and defines an orifice (98) which opens to permit flow therethrough in response to increased pressure within the container (42) and closes to shut off flow therethrough upon removal of the increased pressure. A dispersion baffle (41) is included on the base (50) outwardly of the valve (46). The baffle (41) defines a plurality of dispensing apertures (124).
