Measurement and display of temperature and liquid level in Dewar vessels

This new method measures or displays the temperature and/or the liquid level in a Dewar- or thermos-type vessel. By varying or bypassing the normal method of insulation, a limited region of measurement is formed. This makes it possible to measure a parameter related to the temperature and/or degree of filling, through the vessel wall. Sensors, instruments and displays, reveal and quantify the values.
