Guest subscriber greeting method in mobile communications network

The method involves greeting and informing subscribers, especially guest subscribers, of a mobile communications network, by using one or several greeting messages and a greeting list stored in form of subscriber-specific entries at suitable, already available or specifically arranged, points of the network. At each registration request of a guest subscriber, the network examines whether a greeting message was already transmitted to the guest subscriber and if he has received it duly. If the guest subscriber received none or an unfinished greeting message, a greeting message is transmitted to the subscriber, and a more individual entry in the greeting list is generated for this subscriber, or, if the entry is already available, it is updated.
