The deceleration process applies to a wheeled trailer (1) and involves using a towbar (4) with a telescopic (5) stabiliser (7) on the upper region (20) of the vehicle. The trailer also has a pivoted horizontal suspension (21) and a frame base (14). The torque produced by the released counter-force on the towbar coupling (3) on the load arm (11) is used to operate the braking system (18) for the running wheels (2) of the trailer. A spring (10) directs the linear braking effect on the towbar end (12) to the grip point (15) of the braking system.
