The premixed gas burner has an inlet flow opening to a burner plate and a mixing pipe or duct. The gas burner inlet opening has a gas flow guide with distinctly sized gas jet bores. The gas flow guide (3) has at least two or three channels (4) with interior to exterior extending differently sized jet bores (5). For each single gas type the suitable jet nozzle bores are connected to the inlet flow opening indicated and to the appropriate channel of a gas distribution duct (6). The gas guide can be formed as a gas lance with three longitudinally extending channels (4) and from these there are outwardly extending differently sized jet bores (5).
