Hand=held tool with internal combustion engine with direct electronic injection

The hand-held tool, e.g. a power chain saw (100), has a two-stroke engine with direct electronic fuel injection. It operates a cooling fan on the crankshaft providing a cooling air supply in the vicinity of the cylinder (15) so that air flows through the crankshaft axis. A bulkhead wall (19) runs past the cylinder, separating the adjacent induction air casings (20a, 20b) and the induction manifold (18) from the cooling air supply. There may be a fuel injection valve (17) above the cylinder induction channel (15a), passing through the bulkhead wall.
