Clamping roller with rimmed roller cage in sleeve

The roller has clamping ramps (9) which should extend axially to the open endface of the ball sleeve (2) furthest from the rim flange and the rim ring (4) of the cage (3) on its side open to the ball cage, sealing lip used to close off the gap between rim ring (34) and sleeve is interrupted round its perimeter by centering noses (12) and the cage is made of a first plastics and the lip of a second plastics. The lip is preferably integrally injection-moulded with the cage. Sealing lips (14) also run along the ridges (5) on the side facing the sleeve and here the lips close off the gap between ridge and sleeve in each case. In detail, the noses bear directly on the ball clamping ramps (9). Each ridge has integrally moulded spring arms (11) on the side demarcating the ball pocket (6) which clamp the rollers (7) yieldably onto the ramp (9) and track (8), thus holding the rollers in constant clamp-readiness.
