<p>A method for processing images representing a painting using the transmission of electromagnetic rays (20) in the direction of a painting (10) includes the steps of taking at least three photographs of said painting (10) from the same angle of view, corresponding to rays (20) of different wavelengths respectively, said wavelengths belonging to the visible and invisible spectra, and combining them so as to obtain one or more virtual images (30, 30', 30'') based on primary colours, the colours of each virtual image (30, 30', 30'') being associated respectively with said rays (20) in the same wavelength order. The invention is particularly useful for analysing the constituent parts of such paintings.</p> |
