The stripping components engaging between the cutters of each cutter shaft (11,12) also serve as support components lying against the shaft. The components form a stable rod segment-shaped packet (14) with a smooth externally rounded face (15) which mates with a corresponding internally rounded face in a rigid support housing (22) when the packet is accurately assembled with the cutter shaft. The rod segment form packet of combined stripping and support components encircle the corresponding cutter shaft by more than (90) degrees.
