Self-securing panic door lock with spring-loaded cruciform latch

The lock has its controlling part (6) associated with a blocking lever (10) rotatable on the lock casing (2). When the door is closed this lever holds the controlling part in a position freeing the slider (4). When the door is opened a hook (8) on the slider corresponds either mediately or immediately with the lever, moving it out of the blocked position and connecting the slider to the controlling part. The slider has a surface (12) over which a flat spring (11) lying against the controlling part can slide without having to engage flap (3).
