This press draws a sheet, forming it onto a body. Its table (10) holds the body (16) over which the sheet is to be drawn. The upper press section is lowered down onto the table, and once lowered, surrounds the body, in a bell-shaped configuration. When closed together, the upper section and table complete a chamber (34) for the application of pressure to the sheet. Below the upper press section, surrounding the body, there is an upper sheet-gripping or tenter frame (30) fitting congruently over a lower tenter frame (40). As the upper press section descends, these frames meet together, gripping the sheet between them. In a new arrangement, the lower tenter frame can be pushed down into the table against counter-springs. Within the lower tenter frame, between it and the body, there is a turning-over frame (50) on the table.
