摘要 <p>An optical measuring instrument for measuring a surface to-be-measured broader than a measurement visual field by dividing the surface into parts, measuring the parts sequentially by the measurement visual field and putting together data on the parts. The instrument includes an optical system whose measurable visual field (A) is generally circular and whose measurement visual field (B) has a shape different from a generally circular shape. The measurement visual field is a rectangular shape whose circumscribed circle is greater than the measurable visual field. The measurement field is disposed at the center of the measurable visual field, and the portion where the measurement visual field and the measurable visual field overlap with each other is used as effective visual fields (C1, C2, C3), and the effective visual fields are disposed zigzag with respect to the to-be-measured surface while at least either the side portion in the longitudinal direction or the side portion in the horizontal direction overlap with one another.</p>
