<p>PURPOSE:To improve visibility by matching the luminous intensity distribution of the light distribution patterns of low beams obtained by a pair of the right and left headlights in front of a vehicle with each other. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 3L of a headlight 2L located on the left side when viewed from the back of a vehicle within headlights 2L, 2R constituting a headlight device 1 for the vehicle, forms a light distribution pattern 14L while the reflected light in a reflection region 5LA located on the right side of the vertical face including the optical axis and the reflected light in a reflection region 5LB located on the left side cross each other with respect to the optical axis. The reflecting mirror 3R of a headlight 2R located on the right side forms a light distribution pattern 14R while the reflected light in the reflection region 5RA located on the left side of the vertical face and the reflected light in the reflection region 5RB located on the right side do not cross each other with respect to the optical axis. The reflection regions 5LA, 5RA of both reflecting mirrors 3L, 3R having larger occupancy areas contribute to the formation of cut lines inclined against the horizontal line H-H.</p> |
