<p>A water stream carried in a pipe is treated by a magnetic field generated by an electromagnet (11). The core of the electromagnet is made of a number of leaves (12 and 13) which can move independently of each other and a solenoid (15). The upper ends (16) of the leaves are applied to a pipe (17) carrying water. The leaves are pressed against the pipe by pressure devices (18) which push them upwards.</p> |
