PURPOSE:To obtain high reliability, reduce cost, and save space by operating an opening and closing valve located at a branch of a sheet sucking part and an ozone absorbing part directly by the operation of an actuator for sheet detection. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet passes over a carrying belt 2a, the top end of an actuator 7b is pushed down against an energizing force of a rotating shaft 7a, and a rotation shaft 7a is rotated to rotate a detection piece 7c and an opening and closing valve 7d simultaneously. On the detection piece 7c, transmission type photoelectric sensors 7e are opposed to each other to detect the passing of sheets. The opening and closing valve 7d is positioned at a branch of a duct part 4a of an ozone absorbing part 4 and a duct part 5a of a sheet sucking duct part 5. When it is closed, an absorbing force of the ozone absorbing part 4 is decreased, and a suction force with which even small size of sheets can be sucked sufficiently can be obtained at the sheet sucking part 5. |
