PURPOSE:To rapidly and efficiently lay and optical fiber in the pipe by forming plural spiral grooves of a specified direction on the inside surface of the pipe which force feeds the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The plural spiral grooves 2 of the specified direction are formed on the inside surface of the pipe 1 which force feeds the optical fiber 3. Rotating force is, therefore, generated in the air by the wall surface of the spiral grooves 2 at the time of force feeding by air, and the air flow progresses in the pipe 1 while spirally rotating. The force toward the center of the pipe 1 acts on the optical fiber 3 drifted and inserted by this air rotation. The optical fiber 3 is thus inserted while the fiber flies in the central part of the pipe as desired. The rapid laying operation is carried out in this way and the laying to a longer distance is possible. |
