PURPOSE:To obtain a culture medium having excellent water and nutrient retainability and free from irritation of skin and mucosa by using granules of organic fiber as a substitute for the soil for the culture of a plant. CONSTITUTION:An organic fiber such as polyester fiber having a diameter of 5-100mum and a number of crimps of 5-20/25mm is entangled to form granules having a diameter of <=40mm. The granules are filled in a container at an average density of 0.01-0.3g/cm<3> and used as a culture medium for a plant. |
