PURPOSE:To obtain the compact laser welding device which can weld the joint parts of many kinds of works and has good durability by providing respective clamping device with a guiding passage for a laser beam and an irradiating unit. CONSTITUTION:The joint part 2 of the works 1 is pinched by respective clamping plates 24, 6 of the plural clamping devices 21, by which the works 1 are clamped. The laser beam for welding entering from a light inlet 25 of the irradiating unit 22 at the bottom end of the lower clamping plate 42 is guided to the joint part 2 of the works 1 by the guiding passage to weld the joint part. On the other hand, a positioning device 23 positions the irradiating unit 22 with respect to the respective inlet ports 25. This irradiating unit 22 projects the laser beam supplied from a laser beam generator on the outside by a fiber cable 12 from an irradiation port 43. The one irradiating unit 22 is necessitated for the plural clamping devices 21 in this way and the device which is compact over the entire part is obtd. In addition, the cost thereof is reduced. |
