<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the smooth drive of a traveling object without using the precise map information by driving the traveling object by an unmanned drive system after setting a driving course based on the information on the traveled distance, the driving direction and the stoppage of the traveling object. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle is driven by a manned drive system along an actual driving course of an unmanned carrier and then stopped when the vehicle returns to its start point. A data collecting instruction is given to a computer 22 and then a course production command is given to the computer 22. Thus the computer 22 reads out the collection data stored in a memory device 26 and obtains the steering position, the steering angle, etc. with operations for production of a driving course. The information on this driving course is stored again in the device 26 and an unmanned driving command is given to the computer 22. Thus the drive control is given to a drive motor 7 and a steering motor 11 so that the vehicle travels on the produced course while confirming its own position.</p> |
