<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce gear noise for an equal discharge amount double piston pump and provide such a method applicable to existing pumps of this type. SOLUTION: For a pump, the heads of plural pistons 5 set in and out of a pair of same type cylinder blocks 2a, 2b provided in a pump case 1 in a rotatable manner are locked to the side faces of a pair of gears 6a, 6b engaged with each other in a freely swinging manner, so that one gear is rotated with an input shaft 7 mounted thereto and the other gear is thus rotated to discharge an equal amount of fluid from the respective cylinder blocks 2a, 2b at the same tilting angle. In this case, the numbers of teeth of a pair of gears are made different to increase/decrease the diameter of the piston set in and out of either cylinder block for equalizing discharge amount from both cylinder blocks 2a, 2b with the rotation of the input shaft.</p> |
