PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the fixability and improve the cleaning ability, for preventing the occurrence of deterioration of image and to improve the durability of a pressurizing means such as a pressure roller by forming a cleaning means a conductive member and grounding the cleaning means through a resistor having a high resistance value. SOLUTION: A cleaning roller 13 is disposed so as to come into press-contact with the pressure roller 9. then, the roller 13 is of an aluminium roller and grounded through a resistor 61 having a high resistance value of 200MΩ. Thus, an electric charge is stored, a discharge to other constituting elements is prevented and the occurrence of irregularities in the signal of a control system caused by a noise due to the discharge can be prevented as well. Further, even if a pinhole, etc., exist in an insulating tube 9a as the front layer of the pressure roller 9, the sudden drop of the potential of the pressure roller 9, when the pinhole comes into contact with the conductive roller 13 is prevented, so that reduction in the attracting force of a developer to a recording material P caused by the sudden drop of the potential can be prevented and the deterioration in the image due to the offset of the image can be prevented as well.
