PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting circuit which can be used commonly in power source frequencies of both 50Hz and 60Hz without any trouble. SOLUTION: A fluorescent lighting circuit comprises a leakage transformer 24 in which a primary coil 21 and a secondary coil 23 connected to the coil 21 are combined with an iron core, and phase advancing capacitors 26a, 26n combined with the transformer. A secondary voltage induced in the secondary coil is applied to fluorescent lamps 27, 28, thereby lighting. At least one or more of leading wires 25a, 25n are led from the primary coil 21. The leading wires are connected to a single contact 23a via the phase advancing capacitors 26a, 26n. Consequently, the lighting circuit of a single specification can be used commonly in power source frequency of both 50Hz and 60Hz without excessive heat or deterioration of a life of the leakage transformer, deterioration of a life of the lamp, or degradation of brightness. |
